Admissions

Evergreen Montessori is an equal opportunity care provider.  Please read the section entitled "Interested Families" on how to obtain more information about our program and the steps that we will take if you would like to further explore enrolling your child in our program.  The section entitled "Application Process" will provide you with the timeline that we follow for re-registration and families seeking to register for the first time.  Lastly, the section entitled "Tuition" will provide you with additional information regarding our non-refundable fees and yearly tuition breakdown.

* Please note:  All children need to be completely independent in the bathroom and no longer "mouthing" objects in order to enroll.

Interested Families

Families seeking to find out more about Evergreen Montessori are encouraged to email us to request a handbook.  In the email, we ask that you specify your name, contact information, best time to contact you, and provide a little information about the child(ren) you are looking to enroll.  This will prompt us to email you an electronic copy of our handbook for your review.

After you have had an opportunity to read through our handbook, if you are still interested, we ask that you email us again to set up a time tour our facility and discuss more about the services we can offer your child.  During this time, we will also conduct an informal child interview.  This will help us to determine if our program is a good fit for your child at this time in their lives.

Please note that our elementary program will only be open to children that were registered in our early childhood 3-6 program or are transferring from another Montessori program with accredited teachers.

Application Process

At Evergreen Montessori, we respond to interested families at all times during the course of the year.  If it is determined that our program is a good fit for your child, and you would like to move forward with the application process, an enrollment form will be provided to you and your child will be placed on a wait list.

Please see the timeline below for more information on the acceptance process:

  1. In early January, re-registration paperwork is sent home to all of the children currently enrolled in our program.

  2. In late January, re-registration of our existing children is completed.

  3. In early February, we will begin contacting families in the order in which applications were received on our wait list to fill available spots.

  4. In March, a Spring Open House will be scheduled for all families that are interested in enrolling their child(ren) at Evergreen Montessori but have not gone through the process of being placed on our wait list.

Tuition

At the time of registration, a non-refundable registration fee and a non-refundable activity fee are due along with all of the necessary paperwork in order to secure your child's placement in our program.

Tuition varies depending on the program in which your child is enrolled and is determined on a yearly basis and divided into ten monthly installments payable from September through June.

Our operating budget includes periodic holidays, staff in-service days, and anticipated child absences.  Tuition is non-adjustable.  Credits or rebates cannot be given, as Evergreen Montessori has limited enrollment and fixed costs.

If you have more than one child enrolled in our program, there is a 10% discount applied toward the second child's tuition.

"Before Care" and "Extended Day" fees are separate from tuition costs and also paid on a monthly basis depending on the program in which your child is enrolled.

Please request a handbook for more information regarding tuition rates.
